Get in Shape with Core Workouts
Shape? Perfect! Personal trainer Tanja Krodel wants to make our center strong in the New Year. How? With her Barre Fusion concept and her new book on core workouts.
If you are unhappy with your body silhouette you can achieve amazing results with this special workout. The focus in Barre-Fusion is training on the ballet barre. It is a mixture of functional exercises, yoga and Pilates and ensures that every part of the body is challenged.
The concept is now supported by the new book with the promise: “Core Workouts – Strong Back, Beautiful Belly” (BLV Verlag). Sky presenters Karolin Kandler and Birgit Nössing, designer Sonja Kiefer, actress Michelle Monballijn and Nadja zu Schaumburg-Lippe tested the workout under Tanja Krodel’s guidance directly on site. Here are their comments.
Sonja Kiefer: “What I particularly like about ‘Core Workouts’ is that all the exercises are simple and can be done without equipment. As a working mom, I often don’t have much time to visit the gym, so I can easily work out at home or while traveling – I even often spend my TV evening on the mat!”
Actress Michelle Monballijn was also very taken with the workout: “The core workout is insanely effective – you can completely exhaust yourself in a short amount of time, and immediately feel a great, positive effect on your body tone.”
Sky presenter Birgit Nössing: “As a sports presenter, I’m already constantly under power in front of the camera, so training in the studio is the perfect balance for me. And with ‘Core Workouts’ I now always have Tanja’s best exercises with me!”
